You're Not Listening by Kate Murphy was certainly an interesting read. First and foremost, it didn't bog you down with technical terms. The author wrote a very straight-forward book.
These days we are so distracted with social media, phones, and other technology. We have forgotten how to have a conversation and most importantly, how to listen. How many times does someone talk to you and you find your mind wandering? They've asked you a question and you can't remember what it is?
This book pushes you to think about those questions and learn how to become an active listener. I found myself taking notes and I definitely learned something from this book.
