This was the first title that I have read by Kate Murphy; I remember being very excited to get my hands on a copy of this book when I seen it being hyped up on social media sites, specifically "Bookstagram."
I must say that this is not a typical genre that I normally read, but found myself enjoying the book's contents. It becomes quickly apparent at how much time and research the author put into writing this book as she shares an immense amount of knowledge about the importance of listening.
I think everyone who picks up this book will walk away with something learnt; I think it is easy to feel like you are a good listener, myself being guilty. However, I found myself feeling like I could apply some of the information Murphy provided in this book to my own conversations and I think that's something valuable!
