Kate Murphy brought up topics and points that I never thought about, much to my embarrassment. Each chapter is clearly labeled on the discussion of what she talked about, making it clear.
I always thought that I was a good listener, but to my chagrin, I am just ok - sometimes. Now, when my kids or husband says that I wasn't listening, I realize that I truly wasn't. As a nurse, I really listen and watch for clues of what I was being told, but weirdly I didn't do the same in my conversations with my spouse, children, coworkers, etc. I will definitely be a better listener and a better person, now that I have read this book.
