The synopsis alone really appeals to me but the book itself seems to flow well and is easy to read. I like that the author starts out talking about Oliver Sacks, as I am a fan of his work, and I am really interested in learning more about the psychology of listening/not listening. I'd like to be a better listener and most definitely wish that that this was the passion of our society, as I so wish people listened better to what I have to say.
