this book cover seemed really interesting as i wonder why someone was riding a trike and another person was riding a bike.
i looked at the back of the book and right above the barcode, it said, “religion, christian living, love & marriage.” i was a but nervous that this boon might get preachy, but it definitely wasn’t. there was only one part that i didn’t enjoy reading about and that had to do with someone going to hell because they committed suicide. everyone is allowed their own opinions, but i think suicide is such a tough and complex topic that religious views are a bit too much for me to want to read.
this book was very humorous and had a lot of sarcasm. this book is about sean’s wife, jamie, having cancer and dealing with it. when she is going through the process of getting rid of cancer, she decides she wants to do something big. that something big is bike riding through the c&o canal towpath trail. the banter between sean and jamie is really enjoyable to read and makes you laugh.
