This is a light, fun read about a couple that sets out on a biking adventure during the Covid-19 pandemic. Along the way they meet several interesting people that they see repeatedly during thier journey. The author also shares many facts and interesting tidbits about landmarks that they see as well.
The author has a lighthearted and funny way of writing. He is very real and relatable. There is a bit of soul searching and self reflection That goes on towards the middle and end of the book as well that is also very relatable. It was nice to see that there are still people out there that are willing to lend a hand and help others in need.
I enjoyed reading about the present day goings on of the world around us and gaining another's perspective. The book makes it a little easier to understand why bikers enjoy riding long trails and how they survive the trip and the comradery they find along the way. There are a few characters in the book that I wish we could find out more about. All together it was and interesting and informative read.
