I was really looking forward to reading this book. Like many of us, the pandemic changed a lot of things and reading the story about how it really affected the author and family was something I was excited to sample.

Sadly, I just never found myself really engaged with the books. It wasn’t something that I couldn’t put down and I just didn’t find myself wanting to dive back into it.

The humanity aspect of it was definitely its saving grace. I would have ranked it lower but I did find myself caring about the participants at least.

All in all I would say if you see it at the library you would be ok grabbing it and spend a good day reminiscing about the pandemic while learning about how someone coped through having a terminal diagnosis during it. I am not sure that I would say go out and buy it though, but that is just my opinion. I definitely commend each person for getting their story out there and I thank the author for that.
