The first thing I thought was that the title was pretty cliche--"You are my sunshine" is the sort of phrase I see printed on pillowcases and mugs and such at the store. So that didn't draw me in. The cover is also pretty bland. The story is also very right to the point and tragic, which I'm not in the mood for, and I wasn't a fan of the writing. I think this is a book for people who are grieving and need something uplifting to empathize with.
