I, too, biked the GAP and C&O on a whim this year, wildly unprepared, having camped once in my life and not realizing I'd be dealing with sub-freezing temperatures in April. I need to read this book! I am just hoping that he rode the trail long enough ago that the Paw Paw tunnel was open, because I can't imagine doing that detour with a trike. I feel like I need to meet the author & his wife and swap trail stories. Can't wait to read the rest of this.
