I liked this excerpt quite a bit. The author is humorous, though he details harder moments without being too cavalier. This book would be great for people that are already familiar with him or his work. Though the excerpt drew me in, I was a bit thrown off by him constantly referring to his wife as "the math teacher". I'm sure there is explanation for this, or is a common way he refers to her, but it's a detail I wasn't familiar with. Besides that, I found this excerpt to be fun and the writing style is charming. I wasn't sure how well the cover would fit a memoir type story, but it does go well with the way Sean writes his prose.
