I have to admit, that I was not too intrigued by the synopsis of "You Are My Sunshine" by Sean Dietrich. However, upon reading the "First Impression", my opinion has changed. Mr. Dietrich did a great job of setting up the plot. I was confused how the novel jumped from Jamie's tests to their bicycle adventure. Then I realized that the first four chapters were not included. Liked how the the novel included the beginning of their adventure.
Mr. Dietrich was able to add genuine humor, which is hard to accomplish when dealing with the topic of cancer.
The "First Impression" left me wanting to read the remainder of this interesting novel!
