I have never encountered anything like this book before.
It was dark, and packed with action! Has pieces of Jewish folklore, which I would have liked to more of before going into this read (instead I have Google to thank as my contant companion).
I did not connect with the characters as much I like to when I read, but that's okay because again, this book is jammed packed with story line and plot and so many unique twists and turns.
This book was so original, and is honestly not something I would have pucked out on my own if it weren't for Bookish First. I was pleasantly surprised by this read and will recommend it to anyone who has a taste for action, a little Frankenstein, and an original storyline with a second chance romance.
The last thing I will mention about this book is the gorgeous cover! The art is absolutely fantastic and beautiful. And I couldn't stop staring at it or posting pictures about it!
