I did not know what to expect with this book. I am very drawn to non fiction and fiction books about the Holocaust. It is a very dark time that will stain our history forever.
That being said, the story was very different and fast paced. It introduced a whole new area about golems and Jewish lore that I have never read about. I would definitely like to know more.

Vera is created to exact that revenge and yet she feels conflicting human feelings. She is a modern Frankenstein monster. Made for one purpose but then also developed human feelings.
The book is thrilling and the ending is satisfyingly. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in that time period and fantasy. A good YA book
