It’s very hard to get me to give a five star review. I save those for the books that blow me out of the water.
Which Wrath Becomes Her almost hit that for me. So close.

Chaya is dead. The Nazi’s have taken her from her, but her father in an act of desperation has brought her back to life….
Well - a version of her.
Vera

Vera is made of bits and pieces of Chaya and other things. She feels, she’s has memories, but she’s not human.
Something within her drives her to be the powerful “monster” that she was created for but there’s something else within her. A softness, a kindness..that were once Chaya’s.
Vera struggles with the life she’s been given given, not knowing if she is capable of being more than what she was created for.

This is an excellent middle schooler grade book and have passed this along to my daughter to read.
It was a refreshing and different book that I think will take a lot of praise
