This story will definitely have you on the edge of your seat! It definitely has a lot of action and suspense. The author is very descriptive. One thing that is nice about this book is that there is a glossary in the back which helps with some words. There is also a map in the book which I thinks helps with the story telling. Gives you some insight to where you are and what is around. Another thing I liked was how this author makes it seem like golems are set to be bad and do bad but slowly this main character who is a golem slowly changes some peoples minds about golems and that not all can be bad and some can have feelings and emotions. I also like how it is set back in the 1940s and gives a bit of insight into the Germans and Jews and about what happened while mixing in their own story spin onto it. I also like how there is a bit of a prologue that kind of gives a bit of insight into the before golems. I also liked how they put that some golems can retain memories from their body parts they've received from the dead.
