I found this a pretty intriguing First Look! I really enjoyed seeing through Vera's eyes a Golem, with a strange mix of memories from Chaya as well as the riverbed her clay is from. Her curiosity about the world and its sensations was very compelling, as was the dark, forbidden nature of her creation. It really captured Ezra's desperation and the horror the circumstances. I tend to really enjoy both vengeance and self-discovery plotlines, although I felt like the chapters after the prologue started pretty slowly.
