I love historical fiction and fantasy, and this stunning story manages to combine them both. The premise is instantly intriguing, and I really enjoy Polydoros' writing style. Vera is Frankenstein's monster (or in this case, Ezra's), and she is horrific and made for vengeance, but perhaps not so heartless as she was supposed to be; The prologue is full of feeling and so are the chapters after. I absolutely LOVE the cover- its beautiful and a bit terrifying, and I think it captures the story completely.
