I can’t help but think this updated retelling of Frankenstein may be the perfect fall read! The fantastic cover drew me in right away, with the partial face catching my attention immediately. I like how the novel began; the prologue sets you up but the story really gets going quickly. I don’t usually gravitate towards historical fiction or young adult books, but this book seems like a fresh take on a classic story that is definitely worth the read! Vera seems like an interesting character and I can’t wait to learn more about her!
