It's rare that I'm this drawn in by an excerpt of a book. The concept, while tricky to wrap my head around at first, is so unique and interesting. I can't imagine where this story is going to go. In a short time, the author has introduced nuanced characters and raised really interesting themes. I'm convinced that this would be a really immersive book to read.
