I think there will be a good audience for it, but may not be for me

I was impressed by the cover and intrigued by both plot summary and title, however I was less engaged by the actual writing. Granted, it's just a small peek into the writer's style and who knows were the book may go, so to speak, but I don't think this one is for me. I don't generally love first person narrators, and it takes a specific or special writing style for me to enjoy it.
