An intense historical fiction with paranormal aspects

From what I understand, Ezra has sculpted Vera (using dark arts), seeking to use her to destroy the men who killed his daughter Chaya. Vera is strong and contains skills and memories from the people used to create her. I look forward to seeing whether she succeeds.
