Having loved The City Beautiful, I got super excited to read the first impression of his new book. And Wrath Becomes Her looks like it will top even the wonderful book that is The City Beautiful.
The Prologue is heartbreaking in how tender the moment is contrasted with the violence and oppression that the four of them are fighting against and with the violence and death that occurs at the end of it.
Then, the first chapter opens and it is absolutely beautiful in the way that Vera explains her creation.
I cannot wait to read the book when it comes out! Or, if I win a copy.
