The beginning of a book is so important, it sets the tone for the story and introduces you to the characters. The first chapter of Woven in Moonlight is fantastic!
The way it grabbed my attention was astonishing. I finished the chapter and kept scrolling hoping for more! It seems this story will contain plentiful moments of action, suspense, intrigue, and emotion, along with hopefully victory for those who are oppressed.
The character dynamic is fascinating as we get Ximena's point of view as the Condesa. I wonder if Catalina also chafes at the bonds that have been placed on her by the role she now has to play. Being authentic is difficult enough, without having to be someone else!
