This book is one that will have you at the edge of your seat! Within the first two chapters I found myself hooked! The main characters development goes at a great pace. She seems strong and fierce. Like she takes no trouble from anyone! I do wonder what happens with Ana and the others that may have been taken captive? I'm not even sure yet and I need to know more!!! The protaganist is faced with a series of challenges with people undermining her. She is to help the people of the village stay calm and collected in times of crisis.
The writing had me excited and intrigued the whole way through. I wanted to know about their food supply and how they gathered more. It had me craving the stories plot within the first 20 pages!
