Quite honestly, I only picked up this book because of the cover, but I was pleasantly surprised by the even more amazing story on the inside. This story is inspired by Bolivian culture and history and it skillfully weaves themes of self- reliance, dignity, loyalty, and identity. Isabel Ibañez's writing is direct and purposeful and I was never bored as the book moved along at a steady pace. The romance is slow burning which eventually pays off. The only problem that I had with this book was its predictablity. I can't say much more without given spoilers, but I guessed early on who a certain character was which left me disappointed in the end. But overall Woven in Moonlight is a beautiful story that I think may people should read.
