Wow! This book was so unique I had no idea what to expect when I started it but I read it in only one or two sittings. It was such a wonderful story based off of Bolivian culture which I had no previous knowledge of before this book. I felt so immersed in the magic and the history it made me want to learn more about the culture. I love books that expand your worldview and make you learn new things all while getting you lost in a story. I thought the characters were well thought out and I don't have any criticisms about this book at all. I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who loves fantasy as well as historical fiction. I thought the cover was GORGEOUS and it made me pick up the book and now that I've read it I love the cover even more! It's a 5/5 read for me and I can't say enough good things about it!
