A strong message

This book hooked me with its unusual premise; a girl who can mysteriously weave moonlight, sounds amazing! She’s also strong, a survivor, and loyal, sometimes to a fault.
But this story is much more. It’s a lesson about opening our minds to those we may have misjudged as different than us, when in reality, we’re not so different at all.
I loved the growth displayed in this character. At the beginning of the book she is very black and white, right and wrong but living in the world of her enemy humanizes them and suddenly all her preconceived notions come falling down and her path forward is not so clear. I experienced both frustration and elation while reading, which is a good sign! I was invested.
There is a bit of a mixup with the plot that I found somewhat redundant but it could have just been me.
However, I enjoyed this book so much for that message of change and growth.
