While YA fantasy has always been one of my favorite genres, I've read a lot of duds lately and was nervous to check this book out. After reading the description and sample, I'm hopeful for an original, unique, and great new book (and author!) to look forward to. As a bonus, I'm completely in live with this wonderful cover; props to the designer.
