A book that is likely to be enjoyed by lovers of this genre...I found the writing to be strong, and I appreciated the layers of intrigue that were already established in the first few dozen pages. While this storyline seems to have been done before, this novel is a different take on magic, displaced royalty, and war. Definite potential!
