This book has been on my radar for months! The cover is absolutely captivating & I've been so excited to get this sneak peek! The story starts the reader amidst a political divide where the characters are rationing provisions. The fantasy elements appeared early on, and I'm so excited to know more about the magic systems within this world & a more detailed backstory of the politics.
