I loved this book 100%. I was a little surprised because I was expecting a thriller, so my bad for not reading the blurb with full attention.
One year after her family was in a tragic road accident that killed her son, Lori returns home with a traumatic brain injury that has stolen the last 8 years of memories from her. Her husband, Michael, is a distant workaholic. Her once bubbly daughter, Avery, has spent the last 1 year hidden in her room.
If Lori wants to reconnect with her family, she will have to uncover the information her brain is trying to keep secret. As memories return, it will take the whole family to repair what's been broken and find a new future together,
This is a beautifully written story of healing. A touching story about family.
There were unexpected twists, but not in a thriller kind of way, more in a heartwarming kind of way. Just beautiful!
