I’ve been following Janine Rosche on Facebook for quite a while but this is the first of her books that I’ve read. It was absolutely beautiful!
Lori’s tragic accident has taken nine years of her life and rejoining what’s left of her family proves to be quite the challenge. Things aren’t as she remembers and it’s a daily struggle to know what’s real and who’s trustworthy as she navigates her new normal and tries to find her place is a family that’s moved on without her. Heartbreaking, raw and so full of honest emotion, this story captivated me from the very beginning. The story even held quite a few surprises that I never saw coming. Such beautiful storytelling and complex, and real, characters. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy great storytelling and detailed character development. I look forward to reading more of her books in the near future!
