This book is absolutely devastating as it is heartwarming. As you travel along with Lori on her journey back "home", you seem to grow with her and the way she reunites with those she loves as she experiences heartbreak and happiness once again. The character development is unparalleled in this book. Not only is the family dynamic and the love so pure, but the story is just magnificent. I wish I could experience it all again. The story inside is not the only beautiful thing about this novel. The cover of the book is drop dead gorgeous as well. Words cannot describe the fullness of this novel and the lives it will touch. This book reads so well and I know for a fact that this book will do well on the shelves. Not only does this book describe the growth and adaptation of those around her, but the realness of the growth Lori must go through herself is just inspiring. I know this book will touch many lives just as it has touched mine.
