Lori can’t remember the years right before the accident. A car accident that she and her family was in, that took her sons life. One she can’t remember but certain flashes of memory and certain ways he behaves make her suspicious. Her daughter Avery is finally back at school but still grieving the loss of her twin brother. Top that off with having to do makeup work for the previous year. So she needs a tutor or she won’t graduate. Enter, Xander, her brothers best friend and someone she had a crush on growing up. Her friends basically dumped her after the accident and she begins hanging out with Xander more and more. As she goes through struggles of being a teenager, school work, and bullying, Xander if always there for her through it all and she starts to fall for him.
