The cover drew me to this book, but the first 20 pages did not. It isn't the writing. That's good. But, I couldn't get interested in any of the characters. There isn't a strong connection between Lori, Michael, or Avery. I'm guessing this is part of the story of the accident and its fallout, but I'm not sure I'd stick around to find out.
