I am usually not one to pick up books that deal with the amnesia trope, where the main character is slowly trying to put the pieces of their past together in order to solve a mystery / uncover secrets. This story has simple prose making it easily readable, and the synopsis makes it sound like there is going to be family drama and will deal with some heavy / sensitive topics. Definitely not a book for me but will be perfect for other readers.
