This book deals with very serious topics (trauma, grief, etc), and I think it's trying to straddle the line between literary fiction (what I'm getting from the cover) and thriller (what I'm getting from the synopsis). The premise sounds interesting but I'm not connecting with the main character based on the first chapters. This book is probably not for me.
