Emotional and Intensely Moving Look at Memory Loss

Lori Mendenhall was in a horrible car accident that left her with a traumatic brain injury and memory loss. She does recall snatches of the past before the accident and she knows somehow that one of her children was killed in the accident. When her husband Michael comes to the rehab center to take her home, I felt bad for her anxiety level was ready to cheer her on to accept her new reality. Lori is going into an unknown, even if it is her home with her daughter and her husband. She really doesn’t remember a lot about the house that she decorated so lovingly before the accident. I am intrigued to find out more about her memory loss, what caused the accident, what is her relationship with Michael and if she will be able to recover some of her lost memories and move on. This is a fascinating and heart-breaking look at a woman who needs to find a reason to continue to live in a world that is unfamiliar to her. I am looking forward with anticipation to discovering what the rest of Lori’s story will be.
