A tragic tale.. I've sorta seen before

I thought this first look was well written and engaging, which helps since I believe this story line has been covered before. Sometimes it's on the lifetime channel, sometimes it's the start of a horror movie, but either way, the fact that I knew where the story was going felt a bit predictable to me so I wasn't able to stay as engaged. That doesn't mean it's bad! It's just not for me but I know other people who love these types of stories will really enjoy this work.

The cover is beautiful, and I love the look of the sunset. I think if you darken the silhouette transposed on the cover, that might help to better convey your genre!
