Wilder Girls tells the story of an Island of girls who once attended a boarding school, but are now quarentined due to a virus that gives each of them unique mutations.
The writing is already atmospheric and transportive within the first 30 pages. I felt like I was on Raxter, seeing the dark, bleak world through the Hetty's eyes. Already you see their struggle to survive, and how they have managed to do so, so far. I'm already rooting for these girls to either find a cure or to find a way to live symbiotically with the virus.
Wilder Girls seems like it will be a suspenseful ride with well developed characters. I assume there will be multiple POVS, given the layout, and I cannot wait to learn more about Hetty, Reese, and Byatt.
