...I'm confused. Where is the rest of the book? I was really enjoying this one and then it just kind of fizzled out at the end. Is there a sequel planned or something? Did the publisher accidentally print and release it without the last eight chapters? Is this a choose your own ending story and we just have to pretend it all works out in the end? We may never know. I'm bummed. There was so much potential for greatness in this one but that "ending" ruined it. This one doesn't live up to the hype unfortunately, and it's a shame.
Up until the ending this book had a lot going for it, a unique world that was well built, interesting characters with even more interesting afflictions and that doomsday vibe we all love. I'm not sure what the author was thinking leaving it this way.
