I'm going to be honest and say this was a very disappointing read and that i picked the book up because of its beautiful cover and very intriguing synopsis.
There was so much potential to do good and justice to this plot but there was so much lacking. Firstly our main girls are quite dull. There was no growth, no emotion, no feelings in anything. Also the interactions between them was just as boring.
The writing was not for me either. It was not immersive and I soon found my self skimming through the pages to get to the end to see what happens [which happens to be nothing and more of leaving me with more questions than answers.]
Overall i think this was my least favorite read of 2020, and the only reason that i gave it 2 stars was because the concept was quite good if not perfect and i just can't bring myself to give 1 star to books. I can definitely see this book appealing to some reader tho.
