My most expected book of 2019 was a huge surprise (in a good way)

This book was love at first sight. Literally. Mind you, I didn't believe in love at first sight, now I might. When I saw the cover I knew immediately that I had to read it. I didn't mind what it was about, I just wanted to know what was behind that piece of art of a cover.
Needless to say, I was not disappointed. This is a dystopic-horror book set on an all-girl school in an island that has been isolated due to the appearance and spread of an infectious illness called the tox. The tox makes the girl's bodies suffer different modifications (that the lucky ones who don't die from it). They are not allowed to leave the area around the school building and get their food supplies in a weekly boat. The book tells the story of three friends in the school who will have to go through a lot while trying to find a solution to their situation.
A rollercoaster from start to finish. I'd love to be able to erase my memory and read it all over again.
