In this story, Raxter School for Girls is put under quarantine due to a the "Tox", a sickness that is running rampant in the school that causes the girls to have weird and gruesome disfigurements and sicknesses.
I was hoping this would be just the right kind of weird for me, and I was interested to see how the mystery of the story unfolded. However, this story just really didn't do it for me. I should have DNFed it but I waited to see if the ending redeemed the rest - it didn't. I really didn't connect to the characters either.
That being said, I don't think there were major flaws in the writing, and the storyline is so creative I'd be interested to see what the author puts out next. Should the next story pique my interest I may give Rory Power another chance.
