This had such a great premise. We have girls at a boarding school type isolated location, all infected by The Tox. This tox has caused different types of mutations to the girls, along with death. They have to fend and survive on the island with a Lord of the Flies feel. Thereβs a super secret treatment testing area that we hear about to find the cure. Itβs just a literal recipe for an AMAZING story. But, this fell flat.
Iβm still trying to process exactly what I just read, but I demand a sequel. I need answers damnit. I turned the last page and then flipped furiously back saying, βThatβs it? Did I miss something? Thatβs the end?β Overall, it was great, but that ending just really brought it down.
