Wilder Girls follows a group of girls at a boarding school that has been stricken with a mysterious illness that is affecting the girls and the flora and fauna alike. The boarding school thus has been placed under quarantine, but these girls suspect something more sister may be afoot.
The premise of this book is super interesting, although I personally thought that it did not live up to the hype. It was quite a gory book, and I just couldn’t bring myself to care about what was happening/going to happen to the characters. I wish the execution could of been a little bit better, but it was still pretty well written. I do want to check out the author’s other book, because the writing style was actually really good! I really wanted to love this one, but it was just fine. There was nothing super special or super awful that stuck out to me. It is truly right in the middle for me.
