This certainly gripped me from the get-go. Hetty is a strong character, and her narration gives us a good feel for who she is. Her short, choppy sentences have a no nonsense appeal, and her outlook is analytical. It takes a lot to interest me outside my usual genres, but this one does a great job of it. And the cover art is unusual and eye-catching!
