My first impression of the cover of the title is curiosity and wondering why her face is sliced. As I read the sample chapters, I thought, wow, I need to know what is happening with these girls.
The writing seems blunt and raw, fitting for the environment these characters are in. Just the setting alone in these sample chapters let me know these girls are tough and have interesting stories. What are these girls infected with? Who infected them? Why? And what's outside of this school for girls? I am so intrigued I look forward to reading this book about these Wilder Girls.
