First off, I have to comment on that beautiful cover. Truly, it just catches the eye. Seeing it face out on a shelf, I would be immediately drawn to it. After reading the snippet here I can already start to see how it correlates to the Flare Ups that the girls are experiencing from the Tox. So far, I feel like Rory Power is doing a fine job of slowly revealing what happened to the girls of Raxter School for Girls. You can already feel the isolation and the sense of survival at all costs in play, yet the bond between Hetty, Byatt, and Reese is clear. I'm very interested to find out what the Tox is and why it's effecting the girls the way it does and whether or not the Navy or the CDC know more than they're telling.
