I am a huge advocate for YA reads especially for young women- and we need variety and diversity in stories in these years as we come of age.
After reading the preview I just wish something like this existed when I was in school- something dark and feminist.
There is a lot of directions that this novel can go and I am really eager to see how these characters develop in this highly contained and controlled situation, where there is no real government body and morals/ethics can be cast aside.
I also love the cover art- it is what first drew me to the novel when I saw it online, and after reading the preview the art perfectly depicts the story’s tone.
